Position Description

As part of the Enabling Technologies Team, the System Administrator is focused on the support of Corporate Technologies that enable end users to function efficiently at their role.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot onsite and remote end user tickets through internal ticketing system until they are resolved
  • Assists with onboarding of new users
  • Assists in deploying new equipment via imaging technologies
  • Support audio and video equipment in all locations
  • Assists in maintaining Windows Server Environments, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
  • Assists in maintaining Enterprise Applications, including Corporate Networks, Virtual Environments, Phone
  • System, Exchange Email
  • Assists in working with 3rd party vendors relationships
  • Contributes to the strategic, architectural roadmap of corporate technologies
  • Maintain enterprise documentation around policies and procedures
  • Must be able to provide after-hours support and on-call work as required.

Skills and Expertise

  • Knowledge in Microsoft products (Windows 7/10, Office 2013/2016, 2012/2016 Server)
  • Knowledge in Vmware Vpshere and VDI Technologies
  • Knowledge in LAN, WAN, VLANs
  • Knowledge in Cisco Routers and Switches
  • Knowledge in Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent knowledge/experience. (3-4 years)
  • Additional technical and/or business certifications are an asset.
